CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS
Chiropractic is an evidence-informed, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Chiropractors use a combination of treatments after taking a comprehensive health history, perform a detailed musculoskeletal physical examination and establish a diagnosis related to the spine, nervous system and joints.
The treatment plan can include Active release therapy, Acupuncture, Shockwave therapy treatment, therapeutic rehabilitative exercises as part of the treatment plan in addition to chiropractic spinal manipulation. This depends on each unique patient presentation.
What is spinal manipulative therapy (adjustment)?
Chiropractic spinal manipulation (Chiropractic adjustment) is a drug-free, non-invasive manual procedure that is delivered with precision to restricted spinal joints. The primary goal of chiropractic manipulation is to restore the proper range of motion of the joints including the spine and extremities.
The spinal manipulation rarely causes discomfort and almost always patients feel positive changes. Chiropractic care may also be used to provide symptomatic relief for patients with chronic conditions as well as acute conditions.
